Picture book author and illustrator. Creates picture books and illustrations with themes such as food and animals.
In addition to commercial publishing, she also produces handmade books such as ZINEs.
She also runs picture book-making and a variety of workshops.
Operating Pompiye House in Chuo Ward, Sapporo since 2024.
Provides a space featuring a gallery, books, general goods, and café.
Born in Tokyo, residing in Sapporo.
Major works include the “Hatake no Gochiso Nanda?” series (Alice-kan),
“Ehon-ya no Hinata-san” (Nijino Ehon-ya),
“Oishii Daichi, Hokkaido” (East Press), and others.
